Masters (25+)

Masters (25 years and up) Program

The Masters program is for both experienced and inexperienced paddlers. The goal of this program is to provide a fun and social atmosphere in which to enjoy and compete in the sport of sprint canoeing and kayaking.

Practice times can include singles (C1, K1) and crew boats (C2, K2, C4, K4, war canoe – C15), in sprint canoes and kayaks, as suits each individual’s interest. Participation in war canoe practice is highly encouraged; crew war canoe practices are held twice per week. Training is done in a group environment and paddlers will have the opportunity to compete in their age class at various regattas throughout the racing season.

The program includes:

  • Up to 5 training sessions per week
  • Interest-based training in various types of boats
  • On-water instruction and coaching
  • Social events
  • Opportunities for dryland training
